Mary Jo Wavra Mary Jo Wavra, 46, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, at Bethany Riverside, after a short illness. Mary Jo is survived by her parents, Joseph Sr. and Bonny Wavra of La Crosse; one brother, Joseph Jr. (Janice) of Onalaska, Wis.; two sisters, Bonnie (Richard) Holm of North Pole, Alaska, Nancy (Steve) Smith of Homer, Alaska. She is further survived by eight nieces and nephews and many friends and associates. Mary Jo enjoyed her career as a Realtor with her father Joseph Sr. She will be missed by her family and friends. Friends may call at the Blaschke Funeral Home, 401 West Ave. S., on Monday evening from 7-8 p.m., with a wake service to be held at 7:30 p.m. Mary Jo will be entombed in St. Francis of Assisi Mausoleum, in the Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Gundersen Lutheran Foundation or Cancer research
