Michael ‘Mike’ F. Weber

FERRYVILLE, Wis. — Michael F. “Mike” Weber, 61, of Ferryville, died at his home on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, as a result of a fall.
He was born in La Crosse on Aug. 31, 1952, to Francis and Rose (Houlihan) Weber and graduated from Aquinas High School in 1970. Mike had worked as a welder for the Trane Company in La Crosse for 38 years, retiring on September 1, 2012. He loved hunting, fishing and especially his dogs.
Mike is survived by his mother, Rose Weber; a sister, Linda (Greg) Walters; a niece, Erin Walters (Mark Udovich); a great niece, Ozwin Walters-Udovich all of La Crosse; aunts and uncles, Beverly (Bill) Chase of Holmen, Lorraine King and Dolores Weber both of La Crosse along with several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis; a sister, Patty Weber; a brother, John Weber, along with two uncles, Everett King and James Weber.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, La Crosse where a prayer service will be at 5 p.m. with Rev.
